A top photo as it brings back memories when I was a kid and we used to travel every school holidays on number 4 Brisbane Express to Sydney. I remember quite clearly one time when we had 2 x 44's and a 45 class and left South Brisbane 2 hours late and arrived at Strathfield the next morning on time! I can still hear mum telling us kids to pull our heads in from the MAL or TAM sleeping car open window as we watched the locos up front flying through the country side betwen Greenbank and Glenapp and then the winding track through the Border Ranges. Those were the days. More Queensland Standard gauge please .

Kind regards
